How are the winners determined?
Entries & Nominations:
Enter yourself or your own project.
Individuals are nominated by peers, partners, and sector experts, or identified through independent research.
Expert Panel Review: Entries and nominations are reviewed by an independent panel of judges with expertise spanning artificial intelligence, technology policy, ethics, innovation, business, and public service.
Entries close on Friday 6th February.
Step 1 - All entries and Nominations are shortlisted and judged.
Step 2 - On 24th February, three finalists will be announced in each of the 12 categories, 36 in all and a public vote will be opened.
Step 3 - From the 36 finalists, 27 finalists (organisation and team categories) will be required to submit a 30-minute pre-recorded presentation for the judging panel. These presentations will also be considered for broadcast during AI Public Sector Week (16–20 March). The judges will use these presentations to determine the category winners.
The remaining 9 finalists in the individual categories will not be required to submit a recorded presentation. Instead, they will take part in a live, face-to-face online session with the judges, which will form the basis of the final judging decision.
Step 4 - Winners will be announced on Thursday 19 March at the awards event held during AI Public Sector Week
Recognition:
Those selected are invited to a special celebration to celebrate their contribution.
Do you accept entries from outside of the UK?
No, all entries must be based in and operating in the UK.
Are the Awards for the organisations or individuals?
The UK AIImpact Awards recognises organisations, businesses, public bodies and individuals who are advancing the responsible and impactful use of artificial intelligence. Must be UK based.
When will the AIImpact Awards be announced?
The winners will be announced at an awards event held during AI Public Sector Week on Thursday 19 March.

Nominations & Entries
Nominations can be submitted online via the official AI Impact Awards nomination form. Simply select NOMINATE and provide your nominee’s details — we’ll do the rest.
All nominations are submitted anonymously. Once a nomination is received, the nominee will be informed that they have been nominated and automatically entered into the awards and will be provided with the details of their nomination. They will have the opportunity to review, edit, and add to the nomination as part of the formal entry process.
Nominees will also be given the option to opt out of the AI Impact Awards. To do so, they should email [email protected]

No, you do not have to work for/with nominated organisation or individual. We will contact the nominee and request further details to complete the submission.
No. Once a nomination is received, the nominee will be informed that they have been automatically entered into the AI Impact Awards 2026.
They will be given access to their nomination details to review, edit, and add further information, and will have the option to opt out if they do not wish to take part.
I have been nominated, what do I need to do now?
Once you have been nominated, you will receive an email informing you that your nomination has been automatically progressed into a formal entry. You will be given access to a pre-filled online entry form, where you can review the nomination details, edit and add further information, and complete any remaining sections.
You will also be provided with details of the next steps and key dates. If you do not wish to take part, you will have the option to opt out by contacting [email protected]
